Our Facilitators are selected on the basis of their strong business focus, and industry backgrounds. They challenge existing beliefs to ensure transfer of best practice. Forming part of Team IBT are : Aine Barry, Donal Fitzgibbon, Helen Keown-England, Garry Flood, Stephen O’Flaherty and Denise O’Brien. We work in association with Dr Kerrie O’Sullivan in the area of Strategic Leadership and with Arrivas in the delivery of the QQI Level 6 Training Delivery & Evaluation Programme.

Aine Barry

Aine is a Facilitator/Coach with over twenty years’ experience delivering bespoke leadership programmes to the Pharma, Med Tech, Engineering, Financial Service and Retail industries. She is quick to develop rapport with participants and has an innate ability to identify the required individual learning styles. With a practical approach she is concerned with the psychological safety and well-being of the participants, but ready to challenge in a ‘safe’ environment to facilitate learning.

Donal Fitzgibbon

Donal has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the field of Leadership and Emotional Intelligence (EI) with strong emphasis on Personal Development, Teamwork, Empowerment and Communication. With a background in Finance and Agri/Dairy Donal brings experience, energy and expertise to his workshops. He has facilitated and coached groups in both State and Private sectors, Voluntary and Sporting organisations.

Helen Keown-England 

For the last 19 years, Helen has worked in the field of PR, Branding and Sales, delivering her expertise through training, mentoring and coaching. Helen has worked with some of the top retailers and brands in the world – from FMCG, Fashion, the Motor Industry to Global Pharmaceutical and Government Agencies. She delivers her message in a no-nonsense, jargon free manner; focusing on the power of Human Behaviour. Helen has also developed Sales and Marketing Strategies for a number of prominent organisations in Ireland and the UK. She has facilitated Senior Managers in the areas of people management, business development and strategic planning.

Garry Flood

Gary Flood has had a long career in media and communications in Ireland. He has experience in the corporate communications sector as a consultant and writer for a number of brands including Virgin Media Ireland, the Irish Film and Television Academy and MKC Communications. In broadcast he has worked as a producer, director and writer on a wide variety of television productions including The Late Late Show, Open House, The Afternoon Show, Kelly, The Restaurant, Operation Transformation, Bull Island, Super Garden, Crossfire, Garda Down Under and Take Me Out. Since 2015 he has produced the annual IFTA awards ceremonies for Film & Drama and Television. Gary believes that clear, open and honest communication is essential to success at work and in day-to-day life.

Stephen O’Flaherty

Stephen is a Director in BDO’s Corporate Finance & Recovery department and is regularly retained by clients to provide strategic and business planning advice. Stephen trained in manufacturing before moving in to Practice and specialise in Corporate Finance. Stephen subsequently spent five years with AIB Business Banking, driving the new business agenda for the Mid-West region before returning to Practice in January 2017. Thus Stephen brings a keen commercial eye to all assignments coupled with in-depth forensic analysis experience. A qualified Accountant with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants Stephen is a past President of the ACCA Munster Panel and Vice- Chair of the ACCA Ireland panel and is Director and Chair of the Health Information & Quality Authority’s audit committee. He also assists a number of charities on governance matters on a voluntary basis.

 Denise O’Brien

Denise brings almost 20 years private sector experience with her to the field of Training and Development, Leadership, Operations & Client Relationship Management and Change Management. Having worked with multinationals based in Ireland such as GE, Halifax Bank, Lloyds Banking Group and Wipro Ireland, Denise has witnessed the impact of investment in people from the ‘inside out’. During this time, she has lead teams of over 100 people to achieve real success through a consistent approach in leading others. Denise has a zest for developing those individuals and organisations with whom she works and has attained many HRD awards, and accreditations such as Irish Institute of Training & Development (IITD) National Awards.
